Similar to the Bike Venture forum at last year’s Taipei Cycle Show, Bike Vision will provide a platform for domestic and international startups to present their latest developments in electrification, sustainable materials, and new business models. The initiative aims to connect these startups with established brands, industry experts, and investors, facilitating collaborations that could accelerate innovation.
In a newsletter sent out last week, Taipei Cycle organizers emphasized that the bicycle industry is undergoing rapid transformation, driven by technological advancements and changing consumer demands. With sustainability becoming a key focus, the sector is looking for new ways to reduce environmental impact, enhance manufacturing efficiency, and improve user experience, they wrote. Bike Vision is designed to highlight emerging solutions in these areas.
Pitch Sessions and Vision Salons
The program will include Pitch & Demo sessions, where selected startups will present their products and ideas to industry leaders and potential investors. This format is intended to showcase tangible innovations and provide direct networking opportunities between startups and established players in the market.
Additionally, Vision Salons will feature discussions with leading brands and R&D teams, offering insights into how established companies are integrating new technologies, sustainability strategies, and product innovations.
