The current challenges within the bike industry also have an impact on the Eurobike as Europe›s leading bicycle trade show. With ZEG and Bike & Co two key players of the German bike business have announced to run pre-order shows of their own and to reduce their footprint in Frankfurt. In a bid to attract more D2C offerings, fairnamic as the show organiser now also allows for on-site sales at the Festival Days weekend. In a bid to actively recruit more exhibitors a new member has joined fairnamic’s leadeship team with Adrien Sockeel. The new Head of Sales has a solid track record working in senior management positions for the likes of Decathlon and Media Markt-Saturn. He is expected to significantly contribute to offering tailor-made solutions for the bicycle and ecomobility industry, providing even better support to national and international customers and thus actively shaping the global expansion of Eurobike.

In other news, fairnamic has struck a cooperation deal with Scandinavian agency Huginbiz. From innovative concepts of sustainable mobility to outdoor experiences by bike the aim of this new cooperation is to further expand Nordic trends and Scandinavian customer engagement at Eurobike and to tap into new customer groups on both the brand and retail side. From fairnamic’s perspective this comes at a most fitting moment for two reasons. First the show organisers have announced that they will be introducing the «Adventure Area» at 2025’s Eurobike show as a stage for bikepacking, travel and outdoor adventures. And second Messe Munich and the European Outdoor Group came out with some bad news last week: Due to the economic downturn and strained marketing budgets, the Outdoor trade show has been cancelled for 2025, robbing this business of its most important event of the year within Europe.
