Taiwan’s industry gets behind Taipei Cycle

Despite tough market conditions, Taiwan’s bicycle industry is showing its support for the upcoming Taipei Cycle Show with a strong exhibitor turnout. Show Daily spoke with industry leaders to understand why Asia’s leading bicycle trade show remains a must-attend event.

Taking place March 6-9 at the TaiNEX Halls 1 & 2, the second post-pandemic Taipei Cycle Show is poised to surpass pre-pandemic editions in size. Organizers TAITRA anticipate over 900 exhibitors from 30+ countries across 3,400 booths.

The show will prominently showcase the electrification of the bicycle industry, dedicating an entire floor to e-bikes, e-mobility products, and a new e-bike test track. Sustainability will also be a major focus, reflecting the industry’s efforts to reduce its environmental footprint.

Despite flat business and challenging market conditions, most major Taiwanese players will be exhibiting.

While acknowledging the market challenges, industry leaders underscore the Taipei Cycle Show’s continued importance as a platform for:

Global reach: Connecting with customers and vendors from around the world.

Early developments: Staying ahead of trends and innovations.

Sustainability focus: Addressing and showcasing eco-friendly solutions.

Home advantage: For Taiwanese companies, it’s a convenient and valuable platform.

The Taipei Cycle Show promises to be a key event for the bicycle industry, showcasing trends, innovations, and a commitment to sustainability, despite the current market climate.
